Invitation

EVENT POSTPONMENT ANNOUNCEMENT
Scientific Committee and Organizing Committee announce that the 2020 edition of the Slovak Environment Agency’s flagship event in the field of contaminated sites

the International Conference CONTAMINATED SITES 2020 will be rescheduled to Spring or early Summer, 2021.

Due to growing concerns over the coronavirus (COVID-19), and with the well-being of attendees, partners and staff as the number one priority, the Committees have decided that rescheduling the event is the only responsible course of action at this time. This decision was made after consulting with the SEA’s management, the Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic, partners, and staff, to whom committees would like to express gratitude for their understanding, patience, and continued support.

We hope the world will be able to take adequate action, and that the spread of the virus will soon be contained.
Moving forward we’ll focus all of our efforts on making our next year event even better.

We are heartbroken and know this is a very challenging time for everyone, and appreciate your understanding and support.
We look forward to seeing you in Slovakia in 2021.

Dear Colleagues and Friends,
The Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic and the Slovak Environment Agency is delighted to invite you for the International Conference

CONTAMINATED SITES 2020

The conference will take place

from 10 to 12 June 2020 in Trnava, Slovak Republic

Following four previous successful editions of the International Conference CONTAMINATED SITES in 2013, 2015, 2016 and 2018 we have a great pleasure to welcome participants from all over the world again – this year in the city of Trnava, which is known as Slovak Little Rome.

The last International Conference CONTAMINATED SITES 2018 was organised on the occasion of of the Slovak Presidency of The Visegrad Group 2018/2019 and had a great response. We hope that the 2020 Conference  will be a unique opportunity to provide an outstanding setting for all participants including scientists, researchers, students, company representatives and policy makers to share their projects, scientific experiences, innovations and ideas about contaminated sites again.

We are looking forward to making the conference an unforgettable scientific and social event together.
